One of the highest aerial tramways in the world, the TelefériQo rises from the city to about 3,945 m on the flank of Pichincha volcano. The ride delivers sweeping views over Quito and, on clear days, surrounding snow-capped peaks, with walking trails and a small mirador at the top.
