Wangjianglou (Riverside Pavilion) Park hugs the Jinjiang River and is famed as one of the world's great bamboo parks, with over 200 varieties shading winding paths and pavilions. The riverside public areas are free, peaceful and shady, dedicated to the Tang-dynasty poet Xue Tao, and a favorite of locals doing tai chi or sipping tea. The elegant green-and-red Wangjiang Pagoda is the park's landmark.
