A 30-acre arboretum along State House Road, planted in 1907 and containing over 200 labeled exotic and indigenous tree species. Far quieter than Uhuru Park, it attracts birders, yoga groups, weekend picnickers, and artists sketching in the shade. Vervet monkeys are a constant presence and the canopy is dense enough to make the heat entirely disappear.
